This Fall, Exile Room’s itinerant film program, Docs on Wheels, will make its way towards the lakeside city of Ioannina, determined to make its presence felt. From October 5 to 7, we’ll be rolling out a tribute to American documentary featuring award-winning films from he past few years. Inspired by the imposing landscape, the tribute will be accompanied by a documentary & animation workshop about small, everyday environmental triumphs that could potentially save the planet we call home.

The 3-day event will take place at the Dimitris Chatzis Art Space, a cultural hub that consistently attracts active citizens with an eye for social change. The tribute to American documentary is organised with the support the U.S. Embassy in Athens and the American Film Showcase. Entrance to the screenings and participating in the workshop is free of charge.
