28 & 29/7 at 11am
Instructor: Giannis Misouridis

Armed with a smartphone and an old photograph from days gone by, we’ll build short autobiographies that speak through imagery in a collective documentary. Director and cinematographer Giannis Misouridis will encourage participants to sum up their past and present in short visual stories that will then be edited together in a bigger piece. Together we’ll learn how to handle cameras and smartphones in order to capture our experiences, while the instructor will assist each participant in finding the style that suits them best. Prior audiovisual experience is not a requirement. All you need to do is bring a photograph that holds some personal meaning with you and don’t forget to bring your smartphone, if you have one. Cameras and other equipment will be provided by the organizers.

After the end of the workshop, the instructor will edit the participants stories together and post the final outcome on vimeo so everyone can share it with friends and loved one.
